AI FILMMAKERS SPOTLIGHT
Make the film. We promote it
Send us an AI film and we add a branded intro screen, feature it on the AI FILMS Studio home page and post it across our official social accounts. It costs nothing, needs no paid plan, and there is no limit on how many films you send. Every film carries your referral code, and that code earns you credits whenever somebody subscribes with it.

What the Spotlight gives a filmmaker
The AI Filmmakers Spotlight is the carousel on the AI FILMS Studio home page. It holds films made by people using the Studio, and every card carries the filmmaker's referral code so a viewer can support the person whose work they just watched.
Submitting a film for promotion gets you four things.
- A branded intro screen carrying your profile picture and your referral code, joined to the front of your film.
- The finished file emailed to you, so you can post it on your own accounts.
- A place in the Spotlight carousel on the home page.
- A post across the official AI FILMS accounts on Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn and Threads.
None of it costs credits and none of it needs a paid plan. A free account is enough.

The Spotlight on the home page. Each card shows the film, the filmmaker and the referral code that supports them.
Who decides which filmmakers get funded
AI FILMS Studio funds creators and does not choose which ones. That decision belongs to everybody else using the Studio.
When somebody subscribes, they can enter a creator's @username on the pricing page. They pay less than the standard price for doing it. The creator whose code they entered receives credits and keeps creating. One person chooses, two people gain, and the Studio never picks a name.
That is why the Spotlight shows the referral code beside every film. A viewer who likes what they watched has a direct way to back the person who made it, and it costs them less than subscribing without a code.
The Basic plan is the one exception and does not carry the arrangement. Current prices for every plan are on the pricing page.
Before you start
You need two things. A signed in account, which is free, and a referral code. The code goes on the intro screen the Studio adds to your film, so the form asks for it and will not submit without one. Step six below is where you set it, and it takes a minute.
How to submit a film for promotion
Seven steps, all on your profile page. Nothing is sent until you press the button on the last one.

The card sits on your profile page. The switch opens the form.
Open your profile and find the card
Sign in and open your profile. The Get Video Promotion card sits partway down the page, below your subscription details, and carries a switch reading Request Video Promotion.
Turning the switch on opens a stepped form. Nothing is sent until you press the button on the final step, so you can move back and forward while you fill it in.
Name the film and describe it
Film Title takes up to 255 characters. Film Description takes up to 2000. Each field shows a running count underneath, so you can see how much room is left.
The description is what a viewer reads beside your film in the Spotlight, so write it for an audience rather than as a note to yourself.

Both fields count characters as you type.

Three ways to supply the film. The third reads your own generation history.
Choose the video
You can upload a file, paste a direct link to a video file, or pick a finished video out of your own generation history inside the Studio.
The drop area states the limits. MP4, up to 1000 MB, and at least 300 by 300 pixels. A pasted link is checked before the form lets you continue, so a link to a page will be rejected where a link to the file itself passes.
Add a profile image
This picture goes on the intro screen the Studio adds to your film. Keep your account picture, upload another, paste a link, or use one of your own image generations.
The step is optional and the form says so. Leaving it alone uses the picture already on your account.

Optional. Your account picture is used when you skip it.

Four fields, all optional, each one a full URL.
Add your social links
LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram and X. Each field takes a full URL rather than a handle.
These are the accounts credited when the Studio posts your film. Filling them in is how a viewer finds you and not only the Studio.
Set your referral code
The form carries a Referral Code step of its own. Write your username or your brand name, 8 to 20 characters, letters and numbers, with an optional @ at the front.
Nobody else can hold the same code, so a common name may already be taken. Press Save and the step turns green. This is the code that goes on your intro screen and the code a supporter types to back you.

The referral code is required. The form will not submit without one.

The last step. Submit for Promotion is the only action that sends anything.
Accept the terms and submit
The final step lists six things you confirm about the film. No third party watermarks or branding you do not have the right to use, no spam or prohibited content, no unauthorized brand promotion, no impersonation and no copyright infringement, plus an indemnity clause.
In short, submit your own work with the rights cleared, including the music. Turn the switch on and the button reads Submit for Promotion. Nothing leaves your account until you press it.
What happens after you submit
The Studio builds the intro screen from your profile picture and your referral code, and joins it to the front of your film. Your own footage is unchanged and keeps its original shape, so a vertical film stays vertical.
The finished file is emailed to you. Post it wherever you want. It is yours, and the intro screen is what carries your code when somebody else shares it.
Approved films go into the Spotlight carousel on the home page and are posted across the official AI FILMS accounts on Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn and Threads, crediting the social links you supplied.
The Studio may decline a submission, so a place in the Spotlight is not guaranteed. Send work you own, with the rights cleared, carrying no third party watermark or branding you do not have the right to use.
How a supporter uses your code
Your code is what turns a film into credits. It sits on your intro screen, it shows on your card in the Spotlight, and anybody subscribing can type it in.
Somebody who wants to back you goes to the pricing page, signs in, enters your @username in the referral field and presses Apply. A valid code lowers the price shown before they pick a plan. They subscribe for less, and you receive credits.

The referral field on the pricing page. This is where your @username goes.
The timing matters. The code has to go in before payment is confirmed, and it cannot be added to a subscription afterwards. Share it with people who have not subscribed yet.
You keep receiving credits for as long as that subscription stays active, so one supporter is not a single payment. The Basic plan is the one exception and does not carry the arrangement.
What the credits are, and how long they last
Referral credits are in-platform credits. They spend on generations inside the Studio and they have no cash value.
They expire 365 days after they are awarded, which is longer than any other kind of credit on the platform. The terms may change, and abuse voids credits and can lead to action on the account.
Section 13 of the Terms and Conditions carries the full rule, and the FAQ answers the common questions about credits generally.
Spotlight and referral questions
Do I need a referral code before I submit a film?
You need one, and the form gives you a step to set it. Your code appears on the intro screen the Studio adds to your film, so the form will not submit without one. Write your username or brand name, 8 to 20 letters and numbers, and press Save. Nobody else can hold the same code.
Where does my film appear once it is approved?
In the AI Filmmakers Spotlight on the AI FILMS Studio home page, and across the official AI FILMS accounts on Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn and Threads. The finished file is also emailed to you so you can post it yourself.
Is every submission accepted?
No. The Studio may decline a submission, so appearing in the Spotlight is not guaranteed. Submit work you own, with the rights cleared, and with no third party watermark or branding you do not have the right to use.
What video can I submit?
An MP4 upload up to 1000 MB and at least 300 by 300 pixels, a direct link to a video file, or a finished video from your own generation history inside the Studio. The form checks a pasted link before it lets you continue.
What does the Studio add to my film?
A short branded intro screen carrying your profile picture, your referral code and the AI FILMS mark, joined to the front of your film. Your own footage is unchanged and keeps its original shape.
How do I actually earn credits from my referral code?
Someone enters your @username on the pricing page before they subscribe. They pay less than the standard price, and you receive credits. It keeps happening for as long as that subscription stays active. The Basic plan is not included.
Do referral credits expire?
Yes. Referral credits are in-platform credits with no cash value and they expire 365 days after they are awarded. The terms may change, and abuse voids credits and may lead to action on the account. Section 13 of the Terms and Conditions is the full rule.
Can somebody add my code after they have already subscribed?
No. The code has to be entered on the pricing page before payment is confirmed. It cannot be applied to an existing subscription afterwards, so share it with people who have not subscribed yet.
Does AI FILMS Studio choose which filmmakers get funded?
No. Other creators do. Every person who subscribes decides whose @username to enter, and their choice sends credits to that filmmaker. The Studio runs the mechanism and does not pick the recipients.
